The Saints are going to find very few allies in this matter. No team that has participated in this type of activity is going to want any attention diected their way. They will do everything to keep all the attention on the Saints.

I think with the open aknowledgement of it league wide by players who've said theyve done it too, or admitting everybody does it should have an impact but wont because Goodell will be under pressure to punish us...I think upon investigation they will see that it wasnt about hurting players but like most admit more based off performance.

performanced pay for play is alot different than pay for injuries. It will be interesting to see exactly how they word the charges againest the Saints. Could mean a huge difference in what punishment is handed down. proof of intentional trying to hurt a player would be very difficult to prove unless that had it on tape being said.
