cool looks like I have another issue of SI to frame TBH though if there wasn't a saints player on the front I would more than likely use it as toilet paper....scratch that I'll just use the inside as toilet paper and save the cover

Great job SI .... use the Saints to sell copies even though this goes on with almost every team in the NFL, can't wait to frame this one too

It's hard to remember a number as high as "0". Although I guess for the article it's closer to "EVERY INJURED PLAYER IN THE NFL!!!!!".

I think the whole "bounty" thing is taken way out of context, and shouldn't be used to be honest. A "bounty" to me means I'm gonna do whatever I can to take somebody out including using illegal tactics (taking out knees, hitting after the whistle).
That's not what the "system" was all about... Golic and Woodson (also Wiley) explained it perfectly... you hit people as hard as you can in the freamework of the rules, and if he gets knocked out, then great.
Folks are painting us as cheapshot artists and I don't think its right. I'm loving the "mantra", but I don't think we've earned it.

Common man, you know the WSJ is nowhere near as reputable at fact finding as Deadspin or PFT..../sarcasm

thats my question...who did we hurt? did we break some type of record for personal fouls in 09? I think the media is sensationalizing this "pay for peformance" to much and regurgitating that word "Bounty" is ridiculous...I just want these people to hurry up and decide on a punishment.

I don't know...with his mouth hanging open like that, you'd think his name was Cletus.

if the investigation is over, the Saints need to ask for a expedited sentencing. The longer this drag out, the longer the media has to make us look even worse for what was done.

The ONLY copy I have of Sports Illistrated is with Drew on the cover as Sportsman of the Year. It still sits atop my desk.

So... if you get on the cover of SI for a BAD reason, does the curse have the OPPOSITE effect?

Whoever has a subscription of SI needs to go back through past covers and "investigate" those findings.
