My thoughts exactly. Thanks for sharing of course. But the title made me think Spags was laying our changes he was going to make. Instead, it basically said who he was and that the Saints didn't waste time securing his services.
The off-season is officially here. Non-news is now news. =(

how is this exactly hitting the ground running? Dude walked into the office and opened a drawer to find a flask full of a special blend of moonshine labeled, "Bring the House" Lol I just really see what this article was about.

Shoddy work to be expected from Mike Freeman, the man who once falsified his resume.

After all, he limited Will Smith by putting him in 3 man fronts nearly half the time...how do we know he didnt limit Rogers aswell? Spagnuolo better hurry n realize Roger's worth if he hasnt already. The opposing RBs in this division r big n fast n we could use Roger's run-stuffing ability for aslong as he's able to do it

Rogers took on double teams all year.
Rogers > Ellis, franklin

What Rogers did for this team was well worth the amount we paid him.

Should Will Smith stay or go?
His play of late and his contract will factor in. This will be Spags first big decision. What he does with Smith will say alot about what designs Spags has for his D.
If Smith stays, some kind of restructuring will be in the mix. But its interesting that in SPs first year here, Will had 10 sacks, and GWs first year here Will had 13. Can he get his game back on under Spags?
Junior, Cam and Romeus give Spags some really nice young talent to work with at DE. Should we part with Smith, the money freed up can allow Spags to go out and get another DE and maybe a LB. But Romeus' health is a question mark, so like Will, he may factor in to subsequent moves by Spags.
Just my op.

Talk about a rehashed article. They must have needed a story to run badly.

I was part of the "release Smith" crowd at 1st. But it would probably b wise to keep him around on a restructured contract. Besides I'd like to see what Spagnuolo can get outta him

I've worked for the sports xchange before. They contract out beat writers to turn in monthly content. It's meant for a wider audience, not the hard core in-market fan. The writer is going to microwave stuff that's already been published.

it's pointless to release him best thing we can hope for is to restructure his
Contract
