No one is saying that. But you do understand that they are replacing a suspended head coach, with another suspended head coach who will be replaced by an offensive line coach who will be the coach for 6 games until the 2nd suspended head coach comes back?

Thats just insane. Give the team a guy they can get behind. Give them some stabilization in the aftermath of these suspensions. But instead, this?

I think you guys are dreaming if you think this team won't miss a beat without our freaking head coach. You seem to think that all you need is Brees, a figurehead HC and coordinators and WHAM a Super Bowl. That's really implying that Payton isn't important to this team's success.

I don't know any sports championship in the modern era that was won with no clear leader.

I am seeing conflicting reports about the interim interim head coach.

Schefter is tweeting this:

Saints' OL coach Aaron Kromer is expected to become New Orleans' interim HC during first six games, while Joe Vitt serves his suspension.

But the Saints Twitter feed is saying that they will decide after camp who will replace Vitt for the first 6 games. Schefter is usually pretty reliable, so I don't know who to believe.
