No rational person can legitimately be excited about this upcoming season. The best you can do is hope to be surprised.

I'm just gonna hope for the best and hope we leave the HATERS, the media and Goodell looking stupid!

Thats just insane. Give the team a guy they can get behind. Give them some stabilization in the aftermath of these suspensions. But instead, this?

After reading Sean's book I have always been curious about the coach behind the scenes. Now we get a closer look. I'm good with it.

Pete Jr. can focus on the offense.
Spags can focus on the defense.
Joe can run out after the game and shake hands with the losing coaches.

You guys need to have some faith, there definitely more going on behind the scenes. You know how Payton's mind works. Just think before you freak out!!! Trust in him... They did bring us a Superbowl!!!

I totally agree!!

So what happens if Kromer goes 6-0, and then it's time to replace him with Vitt? I know ... it's not going to happen, right. Just wondering, that's all.

I think you guys are dreaming if you think this team won't miss a beat without our freaking head coach. You seem to think that all you need is Brees, a figurehead HC and coordinators and WHAM a Super Bowl. That's really implying that Payton isn't important to this team's success.
I don't know any sports championship in the modern era that was won with no clear leader.

I am seeing conflicting reports about the interim interim head coach.
Schefter is tweeting this:
Quote:
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Reply Retweet Favorite · Open
Saints' OL coach Aaron Kromer is expected to become New Orleans' interim HC during first six games, while Joe Vitt serves his suspension.
|
But the Saints Twitter feed is saying that they will decide after camp who will replace Vitt for the first 6 games. Schefter is usually pretty reliable, so I don't know who to believe.
