Who is worried....
So far after watching 3 preseason games our offense doesn't look to be in sync, and i'm worried about our offense this year. The first 2 games the D looked good but then there was a slight fall off. So who is worried about this team this year? So far i'm not seeing anything to get me excited!!!

did you see devery hendersons TD catch? for a guy who gets crap for having bad hands...he kinda slaps people in the face there
cadet..young kid from app state.....touches the ball pretty much in every facet of the game. running, catching, returning
mark ingram looks tough....hall of fame game he had some nice runs to move the pile and even made some people miss in the open field
curtis lofton is already stuffing people in the backfield....cant wait for that to continue into the regular season
sedrick ellis, junior gallette, will smith, cam jordan, martez wilson.....our defensive line looks stacked as can be
corey white and marquis johnson are playing lights out in the secondary
how many turnovers do we already have? and its only preseason...gotta love turnovers

yes i'm excited for football, but i'm just saying i think we will have a big drop off of production!

This thread comes around in the same form every year. Congratulations on being the first to bite the bullet this time around. Not being in sync is the point of the preseason. That's what it is there for - to get in sync. We had the number 1 passing offense ever last year to go with the number 6 rushing offense in the NFL. Of course we can't keep that up every year, but having lost 1 single key player, we'll be pretty damn close.

I'm worried, but not because of Pre-season. I don't like that Brees and company don't have Sean Payton on the sidelines. At least when he was injured last season he was around and involved. I don't like that we will go 6 games without Joe Vitt. I think we're a double digit win team, but feel like some things that Payton does cant be replaced. But worried about Pre-season performance....No.

I'm more worried about replacement refs screwing us over than our team coming ready to play.

Brees just seems to be trying to hard and is slow getting things going, i realize he wasn't there for ota's but i think he is trying way to hard.

Dear God,
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bestow upon people the ability to understand that preseason is actually very meaningless except for those trying to make a team. While you're at it, remind them of last year's preseason game with the Houston Texans. Everyone came out in a panic back then, too. I mean, every year it's the same thing. OH MY GOD!! THE SAINTS ARE GONNA SUCK THIS YEAR!!!!
And every year, they don't suck.
So, how about it, God? Can you do something about this?

That last drive with the first team -- you could tell Drew was ticked off, in a good way. They got the job done.
They are going to be fine -- preseason has a tendency to look like this.
