Love it. Keep it coming fellas. there can never be enough words to describe the hatred I have for Goodell. The more players who speak out against him, the worse he looks, and I am loving every last bit of it.

Unfortunately yes I did read some. 99% of them are anti-saints comments. Those people's hatred of the Saints far outweighs their desire for justice and fairness. They all bash the players and their main argument is always "the players agreed to the CBA". My counter argument is that they agreed to the CBA in good faith of believing that Goodell would act fairly. I never comment on ESPN articles because I am boycotting ESPN. But I do comment on PFT articles, and most of my comments get deleted. I am thinking about boycotting PFT next.

I do wish his stance was a little stronger. It wouldn't hurt to say something like: I never contributed to or received Downey money for injuring or trying to injure another player.

Did you notice how in the article it's now described as a "cash-for-hits" program? Whatever happened to pay-to-injure?

Just curious, but where in that article did Smith "fault" Gooddell? And fault him for what?
Sensationalize much?

I've noticed in most articles pay-to-injure has now become pay-for-performance/bounty.

I was wondering the same. Bad wording on the article's part.

Which is correct. PFP happened and the Saints should have been punished. I have no problem with that.

If that's all there was to it, I wouldn't have a problem either. But pay-for-performance is clearly happening all over the league. The NFL knows it. But they are trying to appease certain factions by tossing them a scapegoat while maintaining the sanctity of the NFL brand by not following up with sanctions for all the other teams with PfP.
I do have a problem with that.
