Crowds at Hornets Games

What has the crowd situtation been like this year? Any sell outs? Good average attendance? Oweners happy?

I think they selling out, but the attendance is meh. I've only been to games on Wednesday though.

It's still Saints season (kinda!) so the Hornets are still taking a back seat. Expect the attendence to pull up in a few weeks.

they are averaging about 16500 a game...they are right up there around top 10 in attendance....and its still early. The lower bowl (about 10k tix) is sold out in Season Tix

My first and only game (so far) was last Wednesday for the Hardwood Classics Night. Pretty good I thought for middle of the week. Granted, it was bobble head night and Brother Martin's DJ Augustin brought out a few people but it was a deluge outside (night before The Great 2008 Snowstorm)!!!!! It was also a blowout so a lot of people left early but they had a lot of retro fun putting afros on the guys for the pictures on the jumbotron and wearing "throwback" Bucs jerseys. It was worth getting soaked for.

Last night was the first night this season that really rocked like the end of last season. There were still empties in at the very top, but the crowd was electric and really kicked in when CP3 broke the record. The crowd was rocking the whole second half and the booing that started during the playoffs was there for most of the game. Needless to say, Hornets fans aren't too fond of the Spurs.

I'd say it's pretty good for this time of year. With the economy, Christmas, and the Saints season still going I wouldn't expect us to sell out everynight.
