after the lockout they added a one time amnesty clause, where each team can release one player and have the salary removed from the cap (still have to pay the guaranteed money, but the player is released and it does not count against the salary cap).

This assessment is flawed. Every player has their issues. Davis still has to put on weight and his offensive game will require much of the coaching staff's attention all summer long.

Lillard, PJIII, Wroten, Kendall Marshall would all be extremely solid prospects at 10. They could even end up being better than Davis in the long run. Drummond will be long gone by then.

This is an excellent draft to have two top 10 picks.
