Hornets waive recently acquired forward Rashard Lewis.

Good news. I was getting nervous with it getting so close to the deadline. Saves us around 9 million. Can't wait to see what Demps has in store for free agency.

That will leave penty of money to sign Gordon and bring in a couple of vets

I just read on twitter the rockets want to do a sign and trade for gordon and offering a bunch of young players including Lamb

It may happen with another team but not Houston since they don't have anything that appealing to offer. I think we're planning on matching any RFA offer but if someone makes a very appealing trade offer, we'd be silly to pass up considering we have no long-term attachment to Gordon and he hasn't exactly been adamant about staying here.
