He's definitely a decent pick up. Two seasons ago, he averaged 19 points a game while starting in every game he was available for the season.
But, other than that, I don't know if he'll really be able to match the stardom he had when he was at KSU. The guy was a beast, but it seems as though he'll never be the "star" player of any NBA team.

Beasley was lighting it up this past season when Minny was giving him the minutes and the year before. He could be one of the top players in the league, it's just an mental issue with him. He plays when he wanna play.
There's still plenty of time for him to max his potential since he's only 23. I wish we could've got him though, especially for that price, but I guess we're waiting to see what happens with Gordon.

Very possible. No doubt Demps and Williams are very capable and well-respected around the NBA, but I just have to wonder if they're not beating their heads against the wall keeping Gordon in NOLA if he truly doesnt want to be here.
I'm skeptical of Loomis as "President of Basketball Operations", but I have to wonder if he'll convince DellMonty to be shed of a player that doesn't want to be here, if indeed they do need convincing.

I don't think that Loomis is running the Hornets. I think he's just Tom Benson's voice...

We could've just signed him ourselves. He can still change his mind by July 11th if something better comes up for him or any other FA that has 'verbally agreed' to a deal.

On the other hand, if they're signing Beasley AND Dragic to use as assets in a Gordon s/t, then we're getting somewhere. It's pointless to use a lottery pick on Marshall and then give starting PG money to Dragic.
