Ely brings nothing to the table. His on-ball defense is average, his off-ball defense is atrocious, he doesn't hustle, he doesn't box out, and he is nothing on offense for the most part. I would rather Bowen in there. At least he would get a hustle steal/rebound every once in a while...

I'm confident that we can come back. We definitely need to defend the paint better and keep Tony out of it. Also have to stop the perimeter shooting by the Spurs. Offensively, Peja and David need to get it going and anything from Mopete will be lagniappe. Getting Tyson involved on the fastbreak will help out as well.

For the first time this postseason, i'm concerned. The Hornets bench is the worst of the remaining teams. West is showing his frustrations and is sucking because of it. Peja is missing layups and taking ill-advised shots. Wright is showing his inexperience. Pargo has hit a couple, but can't be counted on. Bonzi is a non-factor. Chandler seems absent. Ely should not be anywhere near the scorer's table.
CP cannot win this game alone and the Spurs know it.

If they don't come out gunning in the first 6 minutes, I'll definitely be concerned. I feel like I have to give them the benefit of the doubt with the way their second halves have been going.

They have to D Parker up that is the guy who is killing them. I hate seeing that zone defense but its the only way to stop Parker from driving in the lane.
