The roster is coming together
PQ Vasquez, Rivers
SG Gordon, Henry
SF Aminu,Thomas, Miller
PF Davis, Anderson, Warrick
C Lopez, Smith
That makes 12/15 spots and I can see Roberts and Bowles making a push for 2 of the remaining 3 and Demps bringing in another true center possibly too.

I look for Warrick to be up for trade to help fill in the depth at center

We're set at C. Wouldn't make sense to trade for another one after getting Lopez and giving him a $15 million deal. They wouldn't see any minutes behind Davis, Lopez, Anderson, and Smith, who can all play C.
I think our roster is set as of right now. Depending on what Aminu and Miller do, SF may be the only hole we have.

Anderson has never played center so I wouldn't count on him there. Also with Warrick we are overloaded at PF and having one more at C gives depth incase of foul trouble.

Anderson filled in at Center for Orlando after Howard went down. They did different of matchups with him and Glen Davis at C and PF late in the regular season and in the playoffs vs. Indy. I remember seeing Monty discussing his ability to play C when we traded for him and he's listed on plenty of sites as "PF-C". It's not like he doesn't have the size at 6'10, 240 lbs; that's the average height & weight of most Centers in the league. It's enough to occasionally get minutes there for us depending on the matchups.
Last year we only had a 4 or 5 big man rotation of Kaman, Smith, Ayon, Landry, and Okafor, and Solomon Jones, Darryl Watkins, and Lance Thomas filled in when Kaman, Landry, and Okafor went down. Lance Thomas is actually a PF and occasionally plays SF. He played PF all throughout college at Duke, this past season for us, and in the SL. That gives us 6 bigs, 4 of them are able to play Center. Like I said, we're good there.

I think Brian Roberts makes the team as the 3rd PG but I'd like to see another SG. Henry hasn't been consistent and rivers is going to get ground into the floor coming off the bench at both guard spots.

I'm not a big fan of Hakim Warrick or Robin Lopez and I'm not as optimistic about this season as I was a month ago. Still, the young talent that we have in place is going to make us a contender within the next 2 or 3 years. Rivers, Gordon, Anderson, and Davis are a great core of young players and Aminu and Henry may end up surprising us.

I thought for sure we would see Willie Green back on the team by now and maybe that still is the case. We need another shooting guard and it seemed like Monty really liked Willie. I would rather Jodie Meeks, but considering Green already knows the system and the coaching staff you would think OT would be a no-brainer. I think we are good in the front court having Davis, Anderson, Lopez, Smith, Warrick, Thomas, and even Aminu when you go really small. You only have enough minutes to go around and a rotation of Davis, Anderson, Lopez, Smith, and sometimes Warrick will be enough for sure. Only having Gordon, Rivers, Vasquez, and Henry is not enough guards, especially considering Gordon's injury history. We really need to add two guards. Another point guard, unless that will be Roberts, and another shooting guard. We basically only have room for three more players to get to 15. So a roster like this would be good:
C/PF: Lopez, Davis, Anderson, Smith, Warrick, Thomas, Bowles?? or a SF
SF: Aminu, Miller
SG: Gordon, Henry, Green??
PG: Vasquez, Rivers, Roberts??

I'm optimistic in that I like the make over this team has gotten and think mangement is definitely making the right moves. To make the playoffs would be a huge improvement this season, but if they don't I won't call the season a bust. Anyone expecting contending or a deep playoff run is not following the same team, or suffering from homerism.
Lopezs' 3year 15 mil is overpaying for what he's done so far, but he's got the potential to out play that. Either way, center will be a target in 2013 and IMO the hornets did well in the thin market this season. Warwick I don't know much about but he should be able to give some good minutes this season or at least till the trade deadline.

I don't see the need for another C. We could use a veteran presence as a guard or small forward.
I can also envision a lineup with Davis, Lopez, and Anderson on the floor at the same time. I don't think Anderson will be spending a lot of time on the bench.

I think one spot we need is a pure shooter at the 2 or 3 spot. I know we have one in Anderson, but I think we will need another. Other than that the team will be made up of street clothes guys that are called upon with injuries.

We deff need a good 2 or 3 shooter somebody that can come in and just start scoring like a Nate Robertson , wille Green, rip Hamilton, Jodie Meeks , jr smith, jimmer, roger Mason jr. Just if a injury happens or if someone's not playing well. Hell I'll tak Marco Bellini back...
