Also unless you're a lawyer judge or in the judicial system, you have to have some form of experience to know what takes place with them. Someone who's never gotten a DUI shouldn't comment because they know nothing about it.

once again, you have no idea what you are talking about

Yes Ive gotten 5, 3 are on paper, and I've not had anyone in the judicial system help me get off of them. I paid lots of money for all since the age of 18 and it was ALL money I earned. I worked my butt off to pay for my mistakes and I still make more money than the average person and I take breathalyzers, drug screens, hair samples and background checks for all my jobs. SO what's your point big man?

Seriously though - it a mixed bag man. I am glad that the outcomes werent much worse, and hopefully it isnt happening anymore. If you have changed the behaviors then credit to you, but its a fine line between justifying it and trying to just be honest about what was going on and at several points it has come across as you justifying that its not as big of a deal - it is a big deal.

No not so much justification. Perhaps I've reveled in the past a bit? I'll put it like this. Back when I was getting them, you're 1st was a slap on the wrist with a hefty fine. If you were in school? Kudos cause you were damn near off the hook. These days they've found that they can make lots of money on DUI s so they've raised the stakes. We all know ppl have to die of something right? But when you can put a price on danger and death, there's money to be made and that's just what they've done there. I do agree it needs to be this way. But if you've noticed, DUI rates have dropped. More kids do drugs than drink. Why? Cause it's easier to get away with and if you get caught, better than paying all the ceap for a DUI. This excludes dealers of course.
But yeah I learned my lesson, hard ways but better than going through all of it in today's world.

whoa, wait a minute-- i must have missed it earlier in the thread-- but you have 5 (technically 3) DUI's?? It is against the Terms of Service of this site for me to tell you what i really think of you, but at the very least, you have no right to weigh in on *anything* in this thread, unless every post you make is an apology asking us to forgive you for the ****ty ****ing judgement you have repeatedly shown throughout your life, and for putting us all in danger over and over again... Otherwise, you might wanna sit this thread out.

Honestly - I think near half of that is nonsense (no noteworthy volume of kids are choosing drugs over alcohol because of DUI fines).
I will say, for the sake of everyone, were glad you sorted out whatever had you on the roads drunk. I do think a good portion of your anger at the system is just bitterness about being caught though.

Just because you make money doesn't mean you can't be stupid. I have a great job.

Nah. Lawyer fees and automobile repairs. Oh, and fines.
