Finally crossed the 300lbs threshold!!

I've been on a diet for about 3 months, I started at 323lbs (i know i know, Im a fat tub of lard ).

I've been sticking with it for a while, but it seemed like the last month I was stuck at around 306!! I would get down to 302, then back up to 304 argh!!!

Finally, this morning, I weighed it at 298!!!! I dont why but the 300 number was kind of one of those mental mile markers that you just need to cross. Im trying to get down to about 245. I've lost on average 2lbs a week so hopefully I can keep it up.

Took a lot of advice from some of you guys on here, Thanks!

Congrats! Losing weight is not easy. If you haven't done so yet, get the MyFitnessPal app. It is available for apple and Droid devices. It helps you track your calories.

You should have asked Loomis if you could sign as a DT .

I'm kidding. In all seriousness, congratulations. I know how you feel, as I have been trying to shed some poundage too. I used to be almost 250lbs at 5'9". I lost weight, but got stuck around 210lbs. I am currently down to 203.8lbs, but I'm trying to get the figure down even more.

Good work buddy.. I don't know your age or anything but look into interval training and/or Tabata, it will take the fat off of you in no time.

Diet and Exercise....it's a proven method. You gotta burn, burn, burn those calories. You almost have to get angry about it when your in the gym. You can take control...how bad do you want it? Set small goals, and that way you gain momentum.

Best of luck....it's not easy but I bet you can do it.

For me the first 30 was easy. The next 30 I worked to lose. I have 40 to go. Want to race for the finish line with me.

Man I know exactly what you mean trying to get past that number. I have been in the exact same boat this past few weeks, being stuck at ~205 with it as low as 201 this morning. I just wanna get on the southside of 200 NOW. I started at ~215 and want to get to 175. No where close to my goal, but I am sick of seeing all my work translate to an extra pound instead of a lost 2. Good luck to you with your overall goal, 2 pounds a week is awesome!

I was at 301 this morning, took a dump and weighed in at 298.

Boom!

Great job! Keep it up and just think how much better you will feel as that weight melts off.

That goes for everyone here trying to lose weight.
