To Mamba's point, if four people were in the vehicle, obviously somebody knows something. And law enforcement should be aware of this. Or should be made aware of the fact. If somebody knows that there were four people in the truck, call the LPD. If we know who was in the truck, she probably wouldn't be missing anymore.
To Twenty's point, BMH wasn't speculating; he said he heard a rumor. I said speculate, and have already said I chose the wrong word. And again, if he knows someone who knows something, law enforcement should be contacted.
Wouldn't you agree?

im venturing the guess that those details come from him having some knowledge of one of the recent interviews with police and they have not released it to the media.
obviously if he knows who did it he should, and id assume would, contact police. in this case it sounds like somewhere in his social network of sorts, theres the proverbial janitor at the police station or news station that is chatting some and the details just arent being publicly reported if true.

I have no idea if this information is credible or if it's just rumors gone wild. Just passing it along.
A buddy of mine just received a text from his wife stating that 3 young adults just turned themselves in because of a connection to her disappearance. No more info than that.

I think if that was true it would be breaking in on local TV stations and media outlets!

I heard a similar rumor a couple days ago, 2 guys 1 girl (only 1 was in custody), but the fact they are still sending searches out right now makes me believe that it's not true. Until I hear something from the news I'm going to take these types of things to just be rumors.

If you read my other posts in this thread, I have made it clear that I may not be stating facts and to take what I hear with a grain of salt.
As others pointed out, I was not speculating. I clearly started the post stating that it was purely a rumor.
I would caution all SR readers to not rely on SR as their sole source of factual information on this case.
Until the police release an official statement, rumors will remain rumors.

It's possibly the woman, that works as a stripper on Bourbon, that lives in the Capri Motel on Tulane, that's been missing.

A private investigator hired to help find missing Louisiana college student Mickey Shunick believes that he may have information about a suspect.
John Abdella, a P.I. hired by private donors trying to help solve the case, told ABC News affiliate KATC that he has received two tips from independent sources describing the same person.
"And their description was almost identical," said Abdella.
Abdella noted there may be two credible suspects in the case, based on the tips he has received in the past week.
"They appear to be very credible and they appear to be very knowledgeable," Abdella told KATC. "And I thought it was more than coincidental that both of their descriptions were the same."

I think he is saying he has spoken to two people (witnesses) who are unacquainted and have no knowledge of each other. These two individuals have each both provided him with a description of a person who may be involved. According to Abdella, Both descriptions are very similar.

Damn it. This just is just horrible. Has there been any word on the missing woman in Lafayette?
