I think it's in anticipation to the upcoming price change. I was trading Netflix options about a year ago, but you could tell things were changing towards the end of the ride in April.
Does anyone know of any good high growth mutual funds. I am looking to get out of fgrax.

Probably because they are losing Starz for their new movies.

Speaking of movie rights, Dish network bought Blockbuster a few months back, and I thought they would really benefit from it. They havent, and they havent made any big Ads about how you can get more movies with Dish On Demand as opposed to Direct Tv. From that, consider dropping Dish from your portfolio if you had it in there. Obviously these guys arent interested in making money off of this, and the NOL they are getting from Blockbuster wont save them as much cash (since they arent making as much as they potentially could).

Buying opportunity or just a taste of bigger selloffs?

Buying opportunity. The pencilpushers and beancounters are just playing games now. Buy big, sell big, skim some off either way. They're just feeding off of people panicking and selling.

Netflix loss, Blockbusters gain? Two days ago blockbuster (who was bought out by Dish Network) was trading at .078, today it saw a high of .15.

Also, POTG is consolidating just below the 50-day moving average and investors are expecting a breakout in the next couple days.
I didn't have a clue what all that meant a few minutes ago...I googled and now I have just a little clue what it means. Just a little.
What did people DO before the interwebs?

blockbuster is really cleaning up. I think I might make a dip if it goes over 15% Thursday.
What are some other stocks that people are speculating in?

POTG gained 20% today on the highest volume in a week, and got above the 50-day moving average in the process.
And it's still in the middle of a promotion campaign, latest press release was an hour before close.
Hoping for some momentum to carry to tomorrow...
EDIT: I made another thread for Penny Stock specifically. Penny Stocks!

don't worry about bloaq anymore folks. it is going to be worthless.
I bought a couple hundred shares of LVS yesterday when it was down 6% (down 12% this week). This stock has been a yo yo lately. It as been bouncing between $39.5 and $ the last few months, so buying in now would be a good time.
NEOM is the only penny stock that I own Sarcastic. They hold a lot of these bar code patents so they actually should have some value if the right people take control of this company. It is always getting financing so that is always a plus.

is anyone else invested in linkedin?
I am thinking of making a short play of it. I bought in at $78 last week, and think I will sell somewhere in the 90's. Do any linkedin share holders think it will pass $100 again before year end?
