But if empirical evidence points to a tomorrow in this time & space continuum....then before the big bang there wasn't time nor space. And at the moment of the creation of the material universe, we can say that there wasn't a yesterday....no?
So, if that's the case, then we also know through empirical evidence that everything which has a beginning, must also have an end....right? So, sometimes in the future, this universe will also must have an end, as it came into existence some 15.5 billion years ago.
Based on that, it is safe to assume that once the material universe ceases to exist, time and space will also end....which means that at some point, there will not be a tomorrow. That's what I understand science is believing now....isn't that logical?

I would love to believe in god - I can see how at times it would be a great comfort. I just don't, not because I don't want to, just because it's so, well...unbelievable.

I think that most "beliefs" come from what we are taught (indoctrinated with) at a very young age. As we grow older, we often learn things that challenge that indoctrination. At that point, we have an opportunity to make a choice. But it is very hard to choose to ignore concepts we were immersed in since birth.

those who taught me to believe were celibate old men who wanted to teach me about sexuality, power hungry nuns who beat me, perverted deacons and holier than thou parishioners who led double lives. my parents expected me to follow like a sheep.
i don't want to be like them---i choose to learn on my own. so far, no.
tomorrow's not showing much promise either.

You do believe in thread necromancy, however. And that is worse than worshiping Satan.

"Is there a god?" "are their gods?"
These are questions that humanity has been asking since we first got cognitive thought. I don't think it'll be resolved in this thread.
But no, I do not believe that one being or multiple beings created the universe or have any hand in our lives. If the falcons win the superbowl, you'll see my point.

I'm with him. Recent search for the god particle prove a higher power science can't see but you must take on faith.
