Eli didn't win this on an elite performance, he won thanks to his defense, specifically pass rush, slowing down Brady. If Welker catches that throw with 4 minutes left at 25 yard line, Pats win! That's a second thing non-Eli that won, a,axing catches by Nicks, Cruz, and Manningham.

NFL needs a new trophy presentation rendition - this is current version is awkward every time.

Well, I don't know if Eli is elite, but it was a joke not including him on that Top 100 list last yr.

Exactly that's why its so sickening to see the giants win. They were helped all playoffs and towards the end of the season. Luck luck

Amazing game, eli didn't deserve MVP though. Should have been manningham or blackmon!

Eli is very good QB, one of the top in the league, but when someone says elite, that means the top 2 or 3 guys that play consistantly at a level above the rest. Eli has some amazing plays and can be clutch, yet around week 10 this year, people were questioning whether to replace Coughlin and Eli. Although the questioning was a little ridiculous, it wasn't without merit, they were on a big losing streak and only got into playoffs because the rest of their division was stinking it up also.
