With brees being unsigned and wanting nations record, if he doesn't get it , does he push the saints into making some tough decisions? And did Payton benching brees just cost us Carl nicks?

Does anyone think Payton and the saints will regret benching brees when he wants Marinos record? Therefore demanding more money to sign thus coating us Carl nicks?

He only needs to average 156 more yards to break the record over the next two games.

He wasn't gonna get it this game even if he stayed the next 11 minutes.

Now if he's short going into the last game and he's benched, then I could see it, but I think he's gonna break it against the Falcons and just pad the stat against the Panthers.

He got over 400 yards this game. He's in fine shape for the record. Rodgers has dropped out of the race today. His only competition is Brady. You're overreacting.

The Saints had to show a little mercy. Brees had over 400 yards passing and 5TD's. They do not want to look desperate trying to break a record that will fall easily over the next two games, which the Saints will be forced to play since they are in a race for the 2seed.
