Side judge MADE SURE he would not get the 1st down - he kept moving more and more to his Left as he ran to mark the ball.

Very close... Giants are having a terrible time keeping their footing, they using the correct cleats???
It looked like a bad spot at first, but his knee went down quick because he stumbled so the ball was actually down before he reached that first down, even tho i appeared like he got it.

I saw that too. From the camera shot right down the line, he landed with the ball right on the first down mark.
