Even 8 year old kids know you dont send exotic blitzes in a prevent situation. The 49ers were doing horrible clock management. Keep them going underneath and worst possible scenario is overtime.
I agree.... Gregg Williams just dug a hole and nailed his own coffin.... Worst defensive call in Saints history...
Good riddance...

The whole city should help him pack. His scheme, game planning and ability to NOT give up big plays is horrible, just horrible. There is a fair amt of talent on the Def side of the ball. We need a new approach to be successful, this AINT IT!

*** does that have to do with the way we played D on that series. GW is an idiot when it matters most.

But that shouldn't matter when you have the lead. 3 point lead you don't just give them yards. Gregg lives and dies by the blitz, he should now be buried.

He's living off 2009 when he had Darren Sharper picking off passes in the secondary. No Sharper and this defense has regressed and cannot force turnovers. The offense did turn the ball over, but they redeemed themselves by scoring enough points to overcome their mistakes and gave the game over to the defense to win and the defense FAILED MISERABLY!!!!

the D played so well for 56 minutes... really kept us in the game until the O finally got clicking... but then they allow all that trash? just so upsetting.
as for people calling for Williams to be fired... just wait a week or 2 when he'll be announced as the new Rams D-Coord.

I think Jordan was a better pick than Ingram was.

I doubt it'll even be that long. I'd say more like a day or two.
