Who's planning to get one? I hope they announce the release at the WWDC in a couple of weeks. I am still on the very first version of the iphone. Still ticking after over 4 years. Have never used any Android based products, though I heard they are good as well. Just happy with all my Apple stuff so far.

i decided a few months ago that when the iPhone 5 comes out, i will finally make the switch from Blackberry to iPhone-- so i'm hoping that they announce a late summer release date as opposed to a Fall one.. i saw the other day that Apple has started ordering components for the 5, and that it will have a larger screen than the 4s, fwiw.
I had an android. It's fine, pretty good. But not an iPhone. Not even close.
It just depends. When I got my EVO, the iPhone 3GS wasn't as good of a handheld device as the EVO, especially if you lived in an area with WIMAX.
Apple needs to make a larger device before I even consider it. Even then, I'm not sure I can get past the OS it uses. I find it annoying with all the candy icons and single button. The 4S is a very nice device, though. Not sure that I would ever use Siri.

I love my EVO, and my buddy just got the new EVO LTE that was released this week, and he said they've improved the phone substantially over the original. Still, I'm tempted to wait and see what the iPhone 5 has in store before deciding which phone to use my upgrade on.

i'm not sure if this is unique to Siri, but a guy at the Sprint Store the other day told me that wth the iPhone 5, as with the 4s, there will be a feature where you can 'talk to text', basically talk into the phone and then send what you said as a text.. this alone would sell me on the iPhone since, being a dinosaur, i hate texting in general, and i especially hate texting while driving (won't do it for many reasons, safety chief among them) so this to me would be really, really convenient.. this feature may have been around for a while with other phones though, so maybe someone could enlighten me.
