Quick question for those who do/have done a plant. How much extra cable to you guys purchase as reserve/slack when doing a project? You know, for overruns, general screw ups, etc. For example, if I've determined I need 300 ft +/- should I add 20% just in case? Thanks.

i would just buy a box of cable for $75.00 more or less which will cover your project and have enough for add-ons etc
