When did he talk about cutting the safety net? Can you not fix a broken net? Who says get rid of it? I thought he said fix.

We're not up in arms about mothers at all.
Republicans, and you, are the ones trying to spin it like we are.
We are, and I've repeatedly stated this several times in this tread, pointing out that Mitt Romney saying he knows the concerns of women in this country because he talks to his wife doesn't mean his wife understands the concerns of women in this country.
I've reiterated that point several times. You've ignored it each time and tried to spin it as an attack on an ill stay-at-home mom.
If you can not even stay abreast to Mitt Romney's budget plans, maybe you shouldn't be in here defending them.
Mitt Romney promised to not touch Social Security for current retirees and the same for current Medicare.
He also said he'll raise defense spending to 4% of the United States GDP. Our last budget at that spending at around 3.3%. That's about a 61% increase to military spending compared to what Obama is spending.
Couple this with his plans to give more tax cuts and his promise to cut spending by 20%.
So if he's cutting spending by 20% where is that coming from?
Medicaid and other social protection for the poor or the so called safety net.
