Not much to argue with there. We're unlikely to see bipartisan reachouts like Obama's asking Judd Gregg (R-NH) to join his cabinet, presumably to add weight to the administration's desire for reasoned deficit reduction, or sending the Democrat analog to John Huntsman to China.

It is an interesting article but how do we know, or how can we even presume to make an educated guess this far out? I like to think that having worked with both parties while working as Governor of Mass. he would see the benefit in doing the same in his capacity as President. I am sure he has plenty of donkey friends like he has elephant friends, and it's not like one side is monopolizing great ideas on how to make this country great, so I hope he keeps his options open, and goes for a team of rivals over a team of "Yes" Men.
But the article gives people what they want, a reason to fear a Romney Presidency. "He might not pick anyone from our side." well good for the author, he did it.

Wow, a NYT article that bashes Romney as too conservative and demonizes everyone associated with him while telling us how amazing, brilliant, open-minded, and talented Obama is. I bet you had to look long and hard for that.
The NYT has been nothing but a leftist rag for decades, just as predictable, bad, and loose with facts as the right wing online "news" sites.

Yes, all those William Safire columns were so leftist, as are the Ross Douthat columns now. And editors/publishers Keller and Sulzberger were so anti-war when they allowed Judith Miller to be the ghostwriter for Cheney's propaganda saying Iraq had WMD. Cheney would hold up those New York Times with his hidden propaganda and say, "see, even the liberal NY Times says Iraq has WMD."

I thought it was a good piece. Romney to my surprise has taken a sharp turn to the right. If he is elected, I think we can expect that his judicial nominees will be very conservative and that his foreign policy team choices will be neoconservative hawks.

And that whatever else he may promise you, his purported agenda will be sidetracked or partially consumed by the expense of another unnecessary war in the Middle East, which may also tip the economy deep into recession if the flow of oil is disrupted for a prolonged period.
He's taking money from Sheldon Adelson, whose quid pro quo is to enthusiastically take up the AIPAC agenda.

John Bolton is one of Romney's advisers. Enough said.

Did I miss the part where you actually dismiss the points made in the article or did you just go straight to the "NY Times is a Liberal Rag so anything it publishes should be dismissed" argument?

Right or wrong, I have to admit that my first thought before clicking on the link is, "OK, so I'm supposed to learn about the Romney agenda filtered through the eyes of the NY Times?" Really though, it's no more bizarre a thought than expecting the Obama agenda to get less than glowing treatment from the Washington Times.
