Cosmic, the question was a link to a following post I made asking you a question.
Not does paul really have a chance to win.
Does Ron Paul have a real chance to win?

Can you give me specific references to this?
Because it sounds horrible like you say.
That was my question.

I'm not Cosmic but I was responding to part of your post.
Is it not something you want to discuss?

Random questions?
I've simply asked questions about things you and Cosmic have stated in order for you to display the facts to back up your arguments. But all you two can do is come back with angry emotionally charged attacks. Stop trolling and answer the specific questions but if you can't do that, then remove yourself from the discussion and let others debate the facts and issues.

Right now, his prospects don't look encouraging within his own party.
Check out Real Clear Politics aggregate polling data, particularly the graph:
RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - 2012 Republican Presidential Nomination
Paul's composite on November 3, 2010 was 7.7% and was 8.0% on December 1, 2011. He's had a bump to over 12% in the past month but that has come on the heels of major collapses by Perry and Cain, and a more recent downward move for Gingrich. That has to be somewhat troubling for the Paul campaign that as other candidates rise and fall, his support isn't moving significantly.
What is Paul's path to the Republican nomination? How does he move Republican support to his side in a way that he hasn't been able to so far? A coalition that's almost half non-Republicans isn't likely going to be something that enamors him to the GOP base, anyway, as it can portray him as a GOP-outsider. Must be out-of-touch with their ideals if he's attractive to them liberal hippies, ya know?
Siphoning some support from Democrats and Independents isn't meaningful if he can't persuade Republicans to support him. That's his real challenge right now.

This is a charade. Reps are going to either vote for the one representing them in the primary, or not vote at all. You are not going to see Reps vote for Obama just because RP is the candidate. True Reps have come to despise Obama, they aren't going to suddenly shift their support to him because RP is the guy.
He may not get a ton of rep support, but if he miraculously wins the primary, he will get most of the Rep vote, many independent votes, and the disenchanted Dems.

No offense, but this is the worst post of the day.
You are a troll.
You have not offered anything of substance to the debate and you have not even read the 500 and twenty thousand other Paul supporter posts.
Therefore, you are asking us to assume your interpretation of Paul's prescription is factual when many of us know it's not.
Welcome to beign 28 and having more hubris than intellect.

I like how you use the term "true reps"..
as if a "true republican" would support Newt or Paul or even that freaking moron from Taxachusettes.
Ha.

Huh?
I'm not arguing whether Republicans would vote for him over Obama in the general if he's the nominee, but whether they'll support him enough to even get him to the nomination.
His numbers with Republican voters, right now, aren't good and he's not seeing much movement as other candidates rise and fall. The big question for his campaign is what he can do to move Republican voters to his side through the primaries, which he is going to need to do to win the nomination.

Ron Paul is what Republicans were before Richard Nixon.... a modern "true republican" is more in line with the neo-con movement. the neo-con movement has effectively removed me from the GOP.
Ron is the polar opposite of GWB

I haven't stated anything as factual, I've only challenged you and Cosmic's opinions of what you are stating about RP. Why don't you talk about the issues and back up what you say instead of attacking posters who disagree with you or challenge your opinion.
I don't think I'm the troll here. And I challenge anyone to review my posts over the last several pages of this thread and prove it.

Once again you've proven all you can do is call people names and make personal attacks.

The disregard with which some claim Ron Paul's ideas are dangerous is a distraction. To say or imply such a thing is a joke. Ron Paul takes the position that it is not the place of anyone to take by force from someone else so that they can give to themselves and others. When done on a large scale it is slavery and oppression. It is stealing and violence and it is good under no guise. It is not helpful if viewed from the point of morality, logic, economics, nor an honest interpretation of human history. Stealing does not promote social justice nor social prosperity. Government is stealing--they are the most conniving thief--but still some are relentlessly faithful to them. Those with this great undying faith in what is a crime by any other name will not be convinced of how they so obviously contradict what they claim to be their own morality.
Ron Paul probably won't be defeated but his ideas definitely won't be defeated because it is easy to help most realize what is right and what is wrong when they are offered an obvious truth--even if it is in the face of overwhelming lies.
