"Bush was president, I thought, 'Be brave. Tie a bomb to your shirt. Insist on going to the White House,'" Sendak told Groth. "And I wanna have a big hug with the vice president, definitely. And his wife, and the president, and his wife, and anybody else that can fit into the love hug."
"And then weíll blow ourselves up, and Iíd be a hero," Sendak said. "To hell with the kiddie books. He killed Bush. He killed the vice president. Oh my God. ... It would have been a very brave and wonderful thing. But I didnít do it; I didnít do it."
I would have thought he was nuts for saying that about Cheney and Bush, but then he threw the wives in and brought it to a whole new level
Are you trying to argue semantics over which crazy person is crazier?
One guy thought it would be cool to blow up Bush, Cheney, and their wives. The other has said that he wants to kill Obama and Hillary (link). They're both pretty ******* crazy.
I already acknowledged both were crazy. I was surprised that the author of one of my favorite books from my childhood was crazy. And crazy enough that he not only wanted to murder to make change but to also kill the wives while he was at it.
