This moron fails to see Brees' role. Drew is well prepared for a future in politics. He has to take this position in an effort to force the NFL to provide evidence. As stated in previous threads, he forces to NFL to either show evidence which will help the players lawsuit or not show and make the NFL appear as if they are not justified in penalizing the Saints. Drew knows exactly what he is doing.

Drew Brees didnt say there were no Bounties. He said he had no knowledge (wether this is true or not, it is conceivable...he's O, not D). This latest release he says they were presented with no definitive proof. Again, if the NFL failed to provide them with PROOF, then his statement is both factual and plausible. I dont see how anyone can fault his statements.
Brees clearly has a vested interest in preserving his teammates and is able to use his position as an Executive Council member of the NFLPA to forward that agenda.
More power to him...death to the haters.

Right, "obsessed", I'm sure the TP didn't cover anything about Vick in 07 right?
As the writer points out, several people involved have already admitted guilt and apologized, what exactly is Brees waiting for? I know he's hero-worshipped by Saints fans but at this point he's looking foolish...
Oh wait I forgot in the other post how it's clearly explained that Brees is outsmarting Goodell and the NFL.

Brees could work out a deal ensuring his grandkids will never have to worry about working and be participating in off-season workouts, instead he's doing this...if he wasn't making provocative statements this article wouldn't have been written, true?

Respectfully I think you're splitting hairs here, what are you really trying to say? If it can't be documented that player X received a specific amount of money for a specific play then the whole thing is bogus? Keep in mind that may very well exist.
