I didn't realized how deep the rivalry was until I moved to Atlanta in 93 (biggest mistake of my life). The atlanta natives talked so bad about the Saints and New Orleans I grew a life long hatred for the team and city. I hope the falcons miss the playoffs.

Serious question fellow Saints fans. Could you date or marry a falcons fan?

Love makes people do strange things, but that's a little too strange for me. There's way too many who dat ladies out there to bed down with the enemy.

I'd cut my throat with a spoon if I had to say their name aloud.

Great response. My wife is a serious die hard, and I couldn't imagine being with a falcons fan. A friend of mine from new orleans (Saints Die Hard) is married to a falcons fans. Being around that couple during the Super Bowl was tragic to watch.

Well one thing is for sure. He'll never watch her cheer on Super Bowl Sunday.

To answer the actual question posed in the OP...
You play to win the game...hello!?!
You take care of yourself first and then let the chips fall where they may. So us winning is of greater value than the Falcons benefitting from our win.
Now if the loss didn't hurt our seeding... hmmm....

Those were indeed difficult times.

I got my seats in 113 2nd row. Its perfect distance to holler at losers like matt ryan and roddy white. I love it. We ****** of brandon jacobs for the giants game bad. He was yelling back and giving us the sign with the thumb crossing his neck like he was going to do something.
