The latest on Gregg Williams, filmmaker brings down the hammer!!
I got to say this, you guys are PATHETIC if you even try to defend any of this. The sad part is you guys didn't need to do this to win. The other sad thing in all this is I have read this board for years because there's some great posters here. Some classy people. To see some of them "okay" with what happened and crying about the punishment is ridiculous. You guys got off easy IMO.

Way to prove his point guys... stay classy. I too have lost respect for vast swaths of the SSF based on the overreaction to Goodell's overreaction. This Board is turning into a hive-mind circle-jerk.

As I said, lot of classy posters around here, LOL, they just haven't shown up yet.
I was looking for an intelligent discussion, I'll come back later when the varsity guys get here.
I mean telling players to go after ACL's and so on? Going after guys with recent injuries and trying to illegally put them out of the game? All so you can "win"?
Of course had someone paid 100k to take Brees down and bust his knees after a whistle you guys would still be crying. And deservedly so.
As is the ring is probably no longer going to count, like college football the NFL is going to take away the Lombardi, back to the Bucs as the only NFC South team with hardware.

How did we get off easy? I think that we can all agree that GW's punishment is about right. More and more info is coming out that implicates Payton and Loomis less. Quit crying about our team's successes and problems and get a semblance of a life. You think the Saints ran up the score last year, have fun watching your team keep up this year.
We don't think intentionally hurting players is right, but we have also seen no evidence showing that the Saints were taking part in that.
