Rumor on Vilma's Suspension?
I heard that Vilma could be suspended a full year at the worse, but will be at least 8 games. We won't know how true this is until they announce it of course, but thought I would pass it along.

Come on Shanle, please be involved in the bounty suspensions.
For the love of all that is holy.

If Kommisar Goodell has proof of Vilma's alleged $10K cash 'bounty' on Favre, I could see Vima getting a one-year suspension on the High end; on the Low-end, 6-8 games.

Vick gets 6 games. Big Ben 5. Suh 2 games for physically trying to injury someone on tape. Haynesworth only gets 5 games for stomping on someones head on film and drawing blood.
But Vilma will get a year or at least 8 games for trying to hurt someone in theory, of which no actual evidence exists?
The NFLPA isn't going to buy that and they have the power to do something about it.

The NFL told them to stop in 2011 just before the playoffs, nine days before end of their season. It's not like they were told in 2009 and then kept doing it. Although national media are not making that distinction.

Just like the woman probably told Ben Roethlesberger what he is doing is wrong. It's ridiculous how his suspension is that lenient for being accused of MULTIPLE rapes.

I don't think the NFLPA will allow Vilma or any Saints defender to get more suspension time then Suh or Haynesworth. If the NFL is serious on "injuries" you have to look at the two guys who actually tried to hurt someone. I'd mostly look at the Haynesworth example, since his was much more malicious than Suh's.

Travis, what are you doing on a Saints forum stirring up stuff. All you are is simply another butthurt Viking fan. If your team didn't like the hits on Favre, why didn't they block better. I don't remember too many hits on Brees.
