LOL. It'll be my third. I feel kind of bad for missing it but I can't miss this game.

I can try to be there about that time. Might be a little later than that. Don't want to miss the banner. My class is at 5:30 at the Auraria Campus so everybody is used to me leaving a little after 4 on Thursdays anyway.
What's the parking situation like? Is there a lot or is it on-street?

As long as you're there by 6:00pm you should be fine. I just want to get there early to ensure I get a great seat and to start meeting people.
The parking is on street only but if you get there early you shouldn't have any trouble at all finding parking somewhere on Lincoln on a Thursday. You may have to walk a block or so but that's not a big deal. I know the area pretty well because I work in the neighborhood. If you have trouble finding parking, call or text me and I'll come outside and help you.

Yeah, I want to get a seat too. I've been having some issues with my back and if I have to stand the whole time, I'll be in agony. Thanks for the help. Looking forward to this very much.

Since I'm getting there early, if I beat you there, I'll save a great seat for you.

On last Friday for the Saints Chargers game we had close to 45 people that showed up that were Saints fans. For a preseason game that is awesome. Last night for the Saints Titians game I tried to stream it. That did not work out too well since I was competing with a internet jukebox that was taking up most of the bandwidth. I was able to get most of the game streamsed and we had around 20 or so fans.
Thursday for the Saints Vikings game Stoney's will also be holding Trivia. Trivia starts around 7. There were about 8 tables playing last night including the big table of Saints Fans. I spoke with the person that runs the trivia, he is also the owner of the trivia comapany and he told me that he is only going to be asking questions during comercials and halftime. He will also be playing a ton of Louisiana songs during breaks in the action. This guy has been to Jazz Fest over 15 times and is also a Saints Fan. So you will be able to play Trivia during the game and have a chance to win a $40 bar tab for first place, $20 for second place, and $10 for third place. He also told me that he is going to throw out a bunch of NOLA trivia questions and Louisiana trivia question during the night. I suggest getting to the bar between 5 and 6. for the game to make sure that you have a seat. There is really no bad seat in the house. They hung an additional 4 TVs last night while I was there. I walked around the bar and there was not a spot I went where I could not see a TV. Even when I went outside for a smoke I was able to look in and see at least 4 TVs clearly. By my count there are twenty-four 41 inch TVs, two 150 inch projectors (only one was up yesterday but the other one is being hung next week before the game) and there are another 3 or 4 TVs that they have in the back that will be going up in the next couple of days, and best of all my glass was rarely empty before I had a full one sitting next to it. So the wait staff is very attentive.
I spent the 3 week before Stoney's opened helping them make sure that all of the tables were level, TVs were hung in the right place and that we will be taken care of. Stoney has been very helpful and is very excited to be part of another great season for the Saints. All of the owners at Stoney's and I have worked really hard since July getting this ready for September 9th, so come on out and enjoy the game with a bunch of great people in a place that has an awesome atmosphere. I am looking forward to meeting everyone on Thursday. Also please do not forget about the Gulfaid Fundraiser happening on September 18th. We are supporting two great charities and we want to have a good showing.
Who Dat!!!

Good stuff, guys. Love the 'who dat' banner on the Stoney's website!
Just finished my last job and the wife and I are heading out in 2 hours. Dallas' best view is through the rear-view mirror ... Vacation ON!
Thursday will be our last night in Co.
Staying in Denver at the Curtis that night. Just a few blocks from Stoneys, stumbling distance. Probably get there around 5ish.
Should be a fun evening, me wants mucho Farve pounding.
Can't wait to meet new Saints fans.
I should be easy to spot, i'll be the guy with the Saints shirt.
..... OK, i'll wear my sr.com shirt.

I didn't make it to the Saints/Chargers preseason game because I had to work. But I heard the turnout was about 50 strong. That's pretty good for a nationally televised preseason game. I'm going to take pics and videos at the week 1 game and post them here.
Thanks again for all your suggestions and info Andy. I can't wait to let you know how it goes.

Hello....all you Who Dats ! It's almost game time...and I can't wait to meet you all....Just so you know..Stoney's allows us to reserve tables right up front by the large TV in the main room...but, as Todd stated...there really isn't a bad seat in the house...He and I have been regulars ! LOL These guys are super...and they are really excited to be our Home Bar...They have and will continue to go out of their way for us ! They know we are good people...spend money...have fun...etc...etc...
Anyone having problems finding the place...finding parking...etc...contact Todd or myself...as well...if you need our numbers...send me a message and I will get them right to you !
I have yet to have problems parking...even this wk end with Taste of CO and Stoney's Grand Opening ( which has been a lot of fun...and continues today!)
This is going to be a great season and a great time...I am hoping to be on here more often and bond with you all ! LOL Just been so busy getting moved down from the mtn...getting settled...working on the benefit...marketing for Stoney's....etc...
I was also made aware of a site called "Meet Up", you may know of it...I didn't...but, anyway...it is groups that meet for all kinds of things...activities, etc...I signed up and formed a group for the Denver Who Dats as well...reaching out to anyone who is out there...to let them know we all exist! I just started it a few days ago and already have several folks that had no idea any of us existed ! LOL and, they will be joining us every chance they get...the site sends out messages to any members seeking whatever it is your offering to do...using key words....I posted as many as I could think of ! LOL Check it out when you get a chance...I have directed them to our FB page...and with your permission would be happy to send some this way ! Anything to get the word out we are all here and want them a part of our group...if they chose !
Hope you all are having a great Labor Day weekend...and come out Thurs !
AND, as Todd mentioned...PLEASE don't forhet the benefit....we are trying hard to make it a big success! We are still looking for donations for the auction and raffle...if you have anything...know of anyone willing to donate....anything ! Please let me know...I have all of the IRS info on the charities they will need for their records when they donate!
Take care....and see you soon !
Caren
