I've been using the starter guns like the m4a1 and the m16a3 and have been dominating with them. It just seemed like they are catering to noobs with this last patch. In some cases leaving well enough alone is the perfect option and they just blew that out of the water. The Famas should have been nerfed but now its totally useless. I just don't understand what they were thinking with this one. Did they even test this before releasing it live?!
What I bolded is the biggest gripe I have with BF3. While not perfect, BC2 had a greater skill gap between good and bad players. I hate that Dice decides that it wants to reward the bad players for being bad. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that I'm God's gift to the Earth for Battlefield, but I'd say that I am better than the average BF player. With that in mind, it angers me when I get killed by someone with less skill. I guess that's one of the reasons that I had more fun with BC2 than with BF3. I might start playing BC2 again if this stuff keeps up.

They are testing it... On PC & PS3. Consider yourselves dev & test. I'll let you all fight over which platform is which stage in the release process.

That was mentioned last night... The #1 gripe seems to be going backwards with the graphics. I've gotta say though, I did enjoy BC2 more than I've been enjoying BF3.

I popped two benadryls last night at about 9. Right around 11 I was completely zone out but playing on gulf of Oman. I didn't really pay attention but it suddenly hit me that i had been playing on the same map for about an hour. At that point, there was only a few tickets left so I went ahead and finished it. I finished with over 25k points and went 146-22. I got three medals in that match and over 60 ribbons. It was ridiculous and over the top. They need to kill rented servers.
