You know why this game is awesome?
OSF and I were cruising through a dungeon, causing some mayhem and generally blowing away monsters and we got to the end boss. As we were doing that, we got a message that someone had joined our game. We finished the battle and 813 pops in and says "hey, do you need this crossbow?" and hands me a bad *** socketed crossbow. Of course, I'm like "awesome!", and, as per usual, OSF is like "damn, I never get the good stuff".
Then 813 pops out to his inferno world or whatever, and I have to figure out what gem to put in this crossbow. It's like having a fairy godfather video consigliare.
Awesome.

It was like buzd clicked his heels together three times and wished for free stuff.
The Demon Hunter and Barbarian do make a hell of a team though. We mowed through everything that dared cross our path.

Act 3, lvl 26 demon hunter. Im mowing stuff over. Its actually a bit borning. I run, come across a group of mobs, right mouse button, left mouse button, left mouse button, right mouse button, 1, left moise button, rinse, repeat.
Maybe its the class, im not sure. But the mobs and thus far all the boss fights have been very easy. Normal difficulty, but the only boss that gave me some trouble was the guy at the end of Act 2. I died twice and got him the 3rd time.
Maybe I should up the difficulty.

So anyway, let me talk about WD on inferno since the hotfixes were about monk, DH, Wizard.
You're a glass cannon, you're going to die and die on inferno as a WD. As the class stands "right now" the big Gargantuan pet is worthless, it dies in a mere couple of hits to an average mob even with all your passives or damage reduction to it. The flaws of this class really start coming to light starting in Hell and is amplified dramatically when reaching inferno. If you played any MMO with pvp you can instantly see who the burst damage guy is going to be, it's the WD, we're the class that can zerg something down fast.
You might say, well, thats great! but unfortunately we have the worst survivability out of every class. In Inferno we literally have 20 seconds to burst down a champion pack because thats when our fetish army despawns and the distraction is over. The WD can dish out some serious damage but inferno is about surviving, unfortunately other classes have it a ton easier than we do(right now).
We excel in parties when the attention is else-where, we bring some nice buff's in party play but there are some critical problems with this class, the pet tank needs serious buff's. I think this class alone needs the most work, some cooldowns are far too long etc. I think the necromancer in D2 was far far more superior than this class is(right now). I hope Blizzard does hotfix or adjust some of these glaring issues. WD can be successful but you're going to have a so much more rough time than anyone else on different classes in inferno.

I believe barbarians have it worst of all. From reading other people's opinions, most people think it seems to be the worst in hell and inferno. It is also the most gear dependent. I haven't got to inferno yet, but that's what I keep hearing. I'm curious what your build looks like, and what your skills are.

Melee in general seem to get a short stick in hell and inferno. Every champion pack out there seems to drop tons of crap in melee range.
Even a defense specced Monk still gets 2 or 3 shotted.

I generally thought if you just raised as much vitality as you could, you would be better off in inferno and hell. After watching some videos and reading up on people using barb and melee builds, the people who are soloing inferno have high resistances and a lot of life steal. Seems they fare better than those who just keep focusing on their vitality more.

From reading the official Diablo forums, it seems every class is the worst at everything, ergo all is balanced and Inferno is just damn hard (as it was intended to be).
About to start Act 1 Hell whenever I get home, so I'll be able to relate/commiserate here shortly. I play a WitchDoctor btw (full Minion Master up to this point, but I realize this will have to change)

I'm not 60 yet, but high life steal has been my plan all along.
Later on Monk get's an incredible talent that will give you resistance equal to your highest. So I will stack one resistance and get mega buffed from it.
I just need time to actually get to 60 and more importantly I need to stop playing other characters all the time.
