Is that over by the 7000 steps? I think it is and if so, I could not get into it. But, I did get into a tower not far away from it and it had a lot of good stuff so I assume Treva's would be worth it too.

yeah, take a few hundred gold and put them in a higher levels pocket and keep taking it out, rinse repeat. i did it to one of the trainers. i'd save after every point to avoid getting seen.

I dunno... Found what appears to be a treasure cave nearby, so went and sold a ton of crap before pushing on. I'm headed back that way now and will get to those steps if I don't find 30 more distractions along the way.

Spoiler Below!
If you are going to do the marriage thing make sure you haven't had a companion die while questing. I decided it was time to settle down and popped the question to Ysolde, that sexy little chick who hits you up for the mammoth tusk. She said yes, and I set the wedding up at the chapel.
I show up to the church on time only to be greeted by a huge wall of text that says "marriage failed," and everybody in the church cussing and yelling at me for desecrating the temple. I have no idea what's up until I look down. At my feet is the lifeless corpse of Lydia in her furry drawers on the floor of the temple.
After that you are stuck in a loop and have to load an earlier save. But you still can't get married because the corpse keeps showing up. Turns out the fix is to move the corpse into another room of the temple, go apologize to your jilted bride to be and beg for another chance. Then go and apologize to the priest and ask for another shot. He agrees and the wedding goes off as planned.
For ***** and giggles, when I dumped Lydia's body I put her in the priest's bed. So now he has a dead hooker groupie in his crib.
GAWD I love this game!

Skyrim Alchemy site
You can check ingredients and sort by Restore Health to give you an idea of what items to combine.
Looks like Blue Mountain Flower + wheat would give you both Restore Health and Fortify Healthy.

That's weird, because I killed off Lydia and that East Company woman (I think...she's actually just MIA with a bunch of my stuff) and I had no problems with Aela. I guess I need to add that to the reasons she's better than real wife: "Doesn't care that I have a string of dead women in my past"

Check back where you first found her. Sometimes they make it back there.

As another sign of the awesomeness of this game, during the dark brotherhood storyline, you gain the power to summon the spirit of Lucian LaChance to fight with you. Well, if you're at the part where the brotherhood is under attack, he keeps telling you we have to get back because our brothers are in peril. Crazy that someone thought of that and programmed it in.

contains spoilers
Played for 30 hours now- got in about 15 over thanksgiving:
Argonian one handed/archer/destruction (firebolt)
things that happened so far:
after starting the thieves guild, lost lydia for some reason- hired stenvar-hes pretty handy in a fight
while trying to get gallus's journal translated got wrapped up in a ridiculously hard, 4-5 hour dungeon crawl trying to recover some researchers journals and fighting dwemer machines/falmer
Also got wrapped up in solving a jack the ripper case in some town
Got the awesome looking nightingale (batman?) armor and sword- i hope kariliah can be a companion
The thieves guild story line is pretty cool. About ready to go get mercer- but after seeing how handy he was, hes going to kick my ***
Killed the orphanage owner for a kid- got a nasty note from the dark brotherhood.
some hired thugs appeared with a contract from 'Una'.
found a dragon a dragon tooth crater- but he didnt move or take damage- just looked at me- so i took the stone and left him.
screw ice wraiths
screw sabre cats
I swim everywhere- found all sort of loot in lakes and rivers
horses are idiots- mine and stenvar kept fighting each other
double fist firebolt is pretty awesome- i dont see destruction as being weak so far
Where did the developers find so many band arnold swarzenegger impersonators (da imperialz and da sturmcloaks need to kill each udda, now!)

FYI i'm a level 30 and my smithing is 100. its easy to get to 100 just takes about 3000 gold to blow. just buy all the iron ore and iron ingots and leather/leather straps from blacksmiths and make a bunch of iron daggers. I went form level 50 to 100 in smithing in about 30 mins just doing this and also leveled up my character like 5-6 levels or so. you can do the same with enchanting small items with soul gems which you can sell off anyway.
