I'm avoiding that whole quest thread for now.
Having too much fun hunting down the dragon priests.

What I did was get up close to him before I released the two guys holding him and then started hitting him with my chain lightning. Once my magicka was all gone, I pulled out my burning Elven great sword and hacked away at him while my follower hit him with lightning. He jumped away once, but by the time he did that, I had used potions to get my magicka back up and I just hit him with chain lightning until I ran to him and hacked him to death. The entire fight probably took me a minute to finish. I was really surprised it was that easy.
What did you use on him?

I killed the other 2 guys first because i wasn't able to penetrate his shield until the other 2 guys were dead. Granted, i only tried to slash through the shield a couple times and it didn't work, so i changed my strategy. Once i disposed of the other 2 guys i used slow time and a two handed sword littered with Firebolts, followed by restore health after i had been hit by his lightning attacks. I also used the Scroll of Call to Arms.

Ending a Marriage
So, you can't get divorced in Skyrim and my wife, Temba Wide-Arms (really bad choice, but I just wanted to see what marriage did), was really annoying me. So, I saved the game and then decided to hack her to death with my sword. I did this an then put her in the bed in the spare bedroom in my house in Whiterun. You don't get in trouble for doing it. I ended up reloading the save before I killed her since I like being able to buy and sell when the shops are not open, but if she gives me any more lip, I might make it permanent.

Yeah, you have to kill the two other guys first or you can't get past the shield.
It must have been the lighting I used that drained his magicka so that he could not summon the storm antorachs. I was also wearing the amulet that gives you 100% faster magicka regeneration so that may have helped me have the magicka to use the chain lightning on him.

I went at him early. Mage college was the first thing I did. He killed me twice, but on the third, it was just a matter of hitting him a few times, then ducking behind a column, then hitting a few times and ducking. All firebolt.
I played basically the rest of the game with that character with the Archmage robes (toward the end of the main plotline, I found some master robes of destruction > *) plus that mask. Of course the mask that final dragon priest coughs up is better.
And how do you hunt dragon priests? Is there something in game that tells you where they are? Or did you look online somewhere? Or are you just clearing out every dungeon to find one? I killed 4 in total and ran through the entire main storyline plus all the guilds (except Bards due to Pantea's flute glitch). But I'm sure there are more I'd love to cross with.

Maybe hunt was the wrong word, but they are the guys I am trying to find and kill for the sweet masks. It's also a quest (Masks of the Dragon Priests).
There are 9 in all and all immune to poison, which kills one of my favorite strategies.
Here is where they are...and the abilities of the mask they drop.
Volskygge - +20 carry weight, Improve Prices 20%, Waterbreathing
Labyrinthian - +100% magicka regen
High Gate Ruins - Improve conjuration, illusion and alteration 20%
Shearpoint - Improve lockpicking, archey and alchemy 20%
Ragnvald - Resist fire, shock and frost 30%
Valthume - +40 heavy armor
Forelhost - +70 stamina
Skuldafn - +50 magicka, improve destruction and restoration 20%
Some of these guys you can't find until you open up certain quests, but if you've rolled the game already, you should be able to go forth and find them now.
Hope that was helpful.

Thanks. Looks like I lucked out on finding the right ones for that last character. I'm going more thief for the next playthrough, so a few of the ones I didn't find yet sound interesting.

If the game handles vampirism like Oblivion it can be cured by praying at a shrine in a chapel, provided you haven't fed.

Also in Oblivion, vampirism boosted up your stats pretty good. Don't know about Skyrim. All I know is lycanthropy is useless

Not positive, but I think you can just take a cure disease potion... At least that worked for me.
