I couldn't even join a game last night. After starting a game it would just sit at the loading screen for an hour

 You actually sat there for an hour waiting for the game to load? Dang man that's some patience right there. I had the same issue with the loading screen. So I backed out back to the dashboard and tried again and bam!!!! Right into a game. Next time don't waste your time starring at a load screen, try something else.

I am a pretty patient person, but it wasn't really an hour haha. I did wait about a good 15 min though and restarted 2 times after that and it was taking just as long.
Finally got to play a game during the day today. Was pretty disappointed.

Once you finally get into a game, this game is pretty good. Guns are consistent and there are no vehicles. A little more cover based than the other GRAW, but the cover system is done well. Unlike Gears where you can only cover-to-cover a few yards, on this, you can go cover to cover very far.
I had more fun in the 4 games I played last night than I have in any Battlefield 3 game.
One bad thing that needs to be addressed is the menu screens. The in game graphics look good, but the menu, lobby, and loadout screens are absolutely awful.
