One thing that is really flipping me off is that when Drew gets hit as he throws in an actual game, he either tucks the ball and takes the sack or gets it away somehow. In the game, if you are hit as you throw the ball just pops up in the air in any random direction unrealistically, even when you just take the sack. Good thing DTs can't catch or else this would have screwed me over many times.

PT is an absolute beast though. I am getting 7-8 yards a pop by running behind Evans to left guard. Nicks just manhandles his guy and gets straight onto a linebacker. I am finding running a lot easier and more realistic as a whole, just gotta be patient. Hit sprint when you see the hole, not when you are given the ball. Also vary things up as much as you can. Reggie is $$$$ on the HB misdirection play getting to the outside and the wheel route.

Having had a chance to play it a while, I like it, it's more realistic, and it's a step forward to last year's game. However, as EA has consistently done, they appear to have gone all out on things like Pro Tak and missed out on simpler gameplay things.

The Half Time show is the biggest pile of crap ever. 'Let's take a look at the highlights' *highlights* 'Let's take a look at the scores from around the league' *scores* 'Let's get back to the game'. At least some analysis would be good.

Also: PS3 users - It says in the manual that L1 at the playcall screen is quick subs. This doesn't exist. Wondering if it's just my game or is that in everyone's?

I keep having to go to depth chart to make subs and it's pretty annoying, especially in online play.

Wink

Any outside runs like sweeps and tosses with Reggie has the potential to go to the house just gotta be patient and let the blockers block.

Same here. My biggest problem is getting pressure on the QB now.

There is a quick sub button, because I've hit it by accident. Not sure if it's L1. Make sure you've drilled all the way to the playcall screen - not the formation screen. Also, the right knob scrolls through packages.

Use the right knob (left, right, up) to swim and bull rush.

It's R1 on the playcalling screen. It says R1 Subs below the plays

Someone at EA really likes Falcons backup Redman. I injured Matt Ryan on a sack for the rest of the season and here comes Redman throwing like Joe Montana. I was getting pressure on him all game and he would somehow throw a laser with pinpoint accuracy. Same crap happened on last years madden. Am i missing something? Was he once a beast?

I ordered mine from Sams, because whatever reason it was cheaper than Walmarts. I should be getting mine on Tuesday.
