I've shot a gun a few times but it's been a while.
For home protection I have a 38 titanium with a laser. Man, is that thing light! It's like a toy gun.
The thing is it's for home protection but it's in my closet hidden far our of reach because I have a little girl and don't want her stumbling upon it. Now that it's there if for some reason I needed to get to it really fast late at night, well, it's pretty far away and I doubt I'd have time to get to it. It makes me wonder why I even have it? I guess I'm ready for a zombie invasion at least. Those guys are slow enough.
I went deer hunting once. I sat in the deer stand waiting at 10 degrees realizing this kinda stuff was not for me. It was miserable and I didn't see any deer, so I just sat there smoking a few cigs to stay warm. I found out later that cig smoke scares deer away. Duh. The experience sucked. Now duck hunting was fun, but shooting the ducks wasn't that exciting, but seeing the dogs work was awesome. Then again, not sure I'll do that again either.
Oh, and I'm a horrible shot.

Well, since you have a little girl, it can also be used when she is old enough to terrify potential boyfriends you do not care for. Though traditionally a double barrel shotgun is used.

I hate being in a tree stand. It's boring. I prefer to track and stalk when I hunt. I don't have alot of successful hunts, but I get a little better at tracking each time, so it is completely worth it. I've never been duck hunting. I think I'd like to try it someday.

I'll weigh in a few things here on guns
1) I don't like hunting, its boring to me. I've only hunted coyotes and rabbits with an air rifle like this
Better not miss cause its 1 shot and takes a little bit to reload lol I'm good at it but its still boring to me. I did it for a friend with him to help clear them off his property.
2) i've been to the shooting range before its really fun. I took a friend with me and got 100 rounds and rented a gun it cost like 85 bucks for the gun, ammo, time, 2 pairs of glasses and 2 pairs of ear plugs.
3) i recently brought my first handgun online which will arrive tomorrow and i'll take it to the range over the weekend. its not hard to get at all and is good protection but keeping it in too far a place doesn't make sense. Just use your gun lock and keep it unloaded and it'll be fine. you can unlock and load it in seconds but i doubt a kid can do that, especially if you just keep the key on you at all times. Guns are dangerous so don't be lazy with the key. keep track of it
that along with the titanium/light weight aspect means even someone with my poor aim can find the mark. Honestly though, I've never really been taught to shoot or even gave it much thought, so if someone taught me correctly I think I could do quite a bit better, or at least not suck half as much.
I'm also kinda in my own world a lot of time. Thinking of wierd things that most people don't think of-- or most likely don't care to. So when a gun is in my hand, it's not hard for me to imagine or even dwell upon the thought of just pulling the trigger in the wrong direction( on accident) and how much damage you could do to someone or yourself. So I find holding a gun pretty uncomfortable.

If thats the case you really shouldn't own one then, 1st rule of holding a gun is being aware of your surroundings. If you can't focus on whats going on around you, then you shouldn't have a lethal weapon. anyway with that said, I never was taught anything. The 1st time i ever shot a real gun was about a month ago, but i'm kinda a natural shot i guess. even with the air rilfe i was outshooting my ex military friends.

This part is about the online multiplayer:
Even better is Rockstar Games' addition of “Crews”. It’s not just a feature to Max Payne 3, but a feature across all Rockstar games, including the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V. Crews could be loosely compared to a much larger version of a clan. It aligns you with a side but doesn’t require you to participate in the same way a clan would. It keeps things social without the need for any particular level of commitment.
If another crew defeats your crew a number of times, a rivalry may form. On a more personal level, if one user is giving you a particularly tough time in multiplayer, you can put a “vendetta” on him or her. The game will then notify the player of the vendetta, with a unique marker placed on this player, and all that is left is for you to exact your revenge. If you get the kill, you get the XP, but if they beat you to the punch, the XP is theirs. It’s a great way to add some social interaction to the game, and let’s face it—how many times has one person killed you again and again, and you wanted a way to get even?
Max Payne 3 is gleaming with Rockstar Games' signature quality in every aspect. The storytelling and cinematics rival the likes of Uncharted. The gameplay is packed with action, realism, and classic Max Payne bullet-time—only refined. And even though the bulk of the experience is the single-player, multiplayer promises to be just as satisfying. This is definitely a game everyone will be playing all Summer long and may still be playing long into the jam-packed holiday release season.
Max Payne 3 releases on May 15th for the PS3 and Xbox 360, followed by a PC release on May 29th.
