Nothing official yet, but many are speculating an announcement on FRI late and that it could be ready to roll by TUES...?

I thought that was me. However, the game has fallen behind the couch, and I haven't had occasion to retrieve it yet.

Beta Info came out.

I just got a pirvate beta code in my email. Downloading it right now.

I can give you my killzone code if ya want it. That code doesnt go live for another two weeks though.

I got one last night. Not sure how but I didn't ask any questions. It took really long to dl because I had to update first and for some reason that was going really really slow. I got a chance to die a few times before I had to go to work.

Anyone played the beta? Thoughts???

I like it although it is different. Respawn is call of booty though. Classic feels more like socom.

Respawn is worse than call of booty right now, just horrible spawn camping its ridiculous. Classic does feel more like socom, just not enough like it. The camera needs to go back the way it was. I wish they added the grenade arc back. I'm just not feeling it yet, hopefully with more playtime I'll get that socom addiction back, but right now its not a buy.
