Can't give you a link due to NDA stuff but I'll tell you what has been said thus far about closed alpha.
"I played the alpha. It wasn't very good, although afterwards they had a meeting with the developers and invited anyone who played to attend and give opinions. since i live in Austin me and my wife went. Consensus was basically everything about the game was crap except the story lines and biowares voice acting capabilities(which were both great). The developers were surprised how many people disliked what they saw."
"I am in the Alpha test, I can't give you my name due to NDA but everything is utterly horrible, the combat is very very laggy, server is very unresponsive(worse than FF14). No way they can release this game this year. The voice acting is the only good thing coming out of this thus far."
"The alpha me and my friend played was almost a full game (as are most alphas). It was easily one of the worst games I ever played and we stopped at that. The voice acting was great, combat is completely terrible."

Im signed up for the beta and hope to get a chance to test it out. Im hoping it is an mmo which will get me to abandon wow. Loved sw galaxies and played the trial again but it is showing its age and prefer wow over it.

Nice! I'm eager to see how this game is. I'm not sure where people are getting these terrible comments from... I played FFXIV and nothing can be as bad as that game... it was horrid. I've heard nothing but good things about SWTOR... We shall see i suppose. I'm liking what i've seen so far.
SW Galaxies was awesome, the newer version is crap tho, they've completely ruined the game, when it first came out it was awesome, now they've turned it into commercialized garbage.
I'm still looking for the WoW killer, i'm with you hoping this is it. Rifts came close but no, had potential in the beginning but now seems to be starting to croak. Great game but not as much fun after your 50 for a while, and the crafting and AH is basically useless.
Another game to check out is Terra... that looks pretty interesting as well.
