FYI You don't have to uninstall the game client you downloaded this weekend to play when the game goes live in 2 weeks. See you guys on Dec. 20th(15th for us guys who preordered).

Same thing happened to me. But my security questions where already done, etc. I sent in a inquiry to the development team. They said that because it was such a high volume weekend half the group would be testing on Friday and my account would work Saturday, but it still didn't work on Saturday or Sunday. I know someone else that got an invite that was able to play Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday.

Tho I was not to worried, I was playing Skyrim on my down time, and have to work 3-11 Saturday and 7 - 3 on Sunday. SO the weekend testing really doesn't fit into my schedule anyways (Monday and Tuesday or my days off). But it would have been nice to test it prior to spending 60 bucks on my copy to see even I even liked it.

I had a blast in beta and can't wait for the game to launch - if anyone wants to create a character on a Euro server and team up let me know.

I had a blast as well. Played with 4 friends on the EU servers.
Got invited today for the final beta test. Looking forward to the game.

I'm stuck downloading main assets 12..then I click repair..and it doesn't fix it.

I've tried downloading 4 times now and keep getting stuck. Over and over again..

Appears many people are having this issue. We are too close to this game beiing released to be having this issue. This is gonna be one horrible launch.

After trying for 2 days to patch and using every trick imaginable, well, I decided to try a fresh install. It's funny, but I'm unable to redownload the game again...why? Who knows? there is no explanation regarding why the download is not where it should be on my page..where it was before. Nope, it's just gone.

If Bioware was smart they would have got some experienced people that have done this kind of work before. Obviously, they haven't.

A total disaster is coming on launch day. Vanguard part deaux! Witnessing this meltdown should be funny.

You need to log out from swtor.com and then go to swtor.com/tester and the download link will be there again.

Quick! Everyone bail because of issues being found for the very reason they are having massive open beta tests!

The entire point of the wide scale open betas they've been having the past few weeks is to find and address server side stress and download issues. They even state that in their forums and website. They are doing this to find problems like this now before launch day...

But that would make too much sense, wouldn't it?

It makes perfect sense, of course.

But let me tell you what else makes perfect sense.

This problem is way worse than basic bugs and has been there for a long time. This is the sort of thing you expect to see at the start of a Beta, not at the doorstep of a fast approaching/almost here launch.

I, and many others can't even get into their game to test it! It would make sense to me to have fixed this issue way before now.(they were aware of this issue) Basically the game is about to launch and many people can't even log in to test the game for the beta, and the launch day is almost here. Needless to say, I'm anticipating if I buy the game I'll be in the same abysmal situation.

I mean, dealing with crashes here and there, fuzzy graphics, or just lag is one thing, but not even being able to launch it or play the game at all? Uh, thats the sort of thing that makes you totally skip buying a game altogether.

Beta is not defined as ( finished polish game I can play for free ). They have these stress tests to test their server capacity. As to the graphics if noticed most functions were locked and that is definately changing on release. Also most likely people just did not get invited to this wave of tests. I have been in past two invites and the game is very well polished for a beta. Actually better than wow was in beta and damn near best been in. The game is great and even the 3d was working well. Which in most betas does not. This is going to be a must buy sorry wow fanbois!!!!

The bottom line is come launch day nothing leads me to believe I'll be able to even log in to the game after shelling out 50+ bucks and recurring fees.. Quite a few others are in the same boat with me. This is a problem.

Should I try this game out I know now to wait a loooong time for this issue to be fixed.. No sense in throwing money away. So I look forward to hearing the reviews here.

I was in the beta and everything worked well. There was an email sent out stating what day and what time you could start playing. I was on friday morning. Some friends couldnt get on until saturday because they didnt respond as soon as i did when the invites went out. Ive had no lag, no crashes and no frame rate issues. The only tweek i did was turn down the shader. The game was smooth. I play on a laptop which is a year and a half old. The graphics remind me alot of star wars galaxies. I do play wow and believe the gameplay and graphics look better in wow. I will probably play both however.

Early access moved up to the 13th. When you get in is based on when you pre-ordered...

I saw that! Also, on the 19th the servers are going shutdown, and come back up on the 20th for the full release of the game.
