Tera online(mmo) initial impressions - Page 2

I picked this game up for $9.99 today at Best Buy. Is anyone still playing it, and what are your thoughts now that the game has been out a while? What sever is everybody on?

Next month, Tera will be free to play. I might start playing again.

Same. I really enjoyed the combat but the questing system was not worth $15 a month to me. They are offering a week of free gameplay so I think I"ll download it and check it out again.

Okay, cancel what I said.

Anyone thinking about giving the game another chance my only recommendation would be don't.

Took almost 10 hours to download only to get stuck at the very end with a "Unable to download Manifest" error. Apparently it is an extremely common error that has been going on for months now. The only way to really fix it is to keep closing and restarting the launcher on the hope that one time out of 1000 it'll let you in. Of course it will still kick you off at random times when it gets the error again and you'll repeat the process.

It was a quick reminder on why I quit this game so quickly back in May.
