THE VG MOVIE THREAD: Didn't we have a "movie" thread already??
anyway, i will start
Avatar was pretty stupid....yeah, it was all pretty looking but it was a pretty awful movie
and even some of the effects were hokey and overdone....the glowing forest was tiresome....
don't even get me started on the holes in the plot....
i took the dude to see it and he enjoyed it....but he is almost 7....

it's a Guy Ritchie film....so it's probably worth a look
although ever since he first poked Madonna, his movie making skilzorz seem to be diminishing

I agree with your Guy Ritchie assessment, Pop. Snatch is one of the greatest of all-time, and whoever doesn't think that, Mongoose will convince you.
Has anyone seen Youth In Revolt yet? I heard it was pretty funny but I'm still kind of hesitant.

I saw it, it wasn't that funny. The whole "alternate" personality that they play up in the previews has very little movie time. Don't get me wrong, I chuckled here and there, but it mostly felt forced and it was just a little too silly.

Pulp Fiction and RockyIV flip flop as my #1. It's usually whichever one I've watched last.
