i've been thinking a lot about the missed field goals and xtra points by Carney and remembering a time were Payton didn't tolerate this and was quick to get rid of a kicker.

So question is should we cut Carney and go with Hartley and promote Presley from the practice squad to give us youth and depth at DT

I'm not sure what Payton will do because he's so unpredictable. But I can tell you that they showed a quick screen shot of him after Carney missed that field goal against the Falcons and he was irate! I've only seen him that angry a few times.

We could use another big body like Pressley (an athletic one as well).

I voted yes, but I really didn't know which to chose. I'm not sure if Payton is fully confident in Hartley yet. Why else would he still have Carney on the roster?

Historically, Carney has been money on the shorter shots. I know, I know the PAT on the River City Relay still eats at me, too.

What confused me was the playcalling. 4th and 3 on atl's 30. Hell, they'd had starting field position in that area all game. Go for it!! Do we? No. We go for a fieldgoal that we miss, and give them the field position anyway! Later, in a remarkably similar situation, Smith has his team in our territory, and is stalled at 4th and short. Granted Elam had already missed one (or two), but Smith decided to go for it, and got it. It just seemed that the uber aggressive playcaller that we'd all come to know and love, didn't even run a fake when the time called for it. What gives??

what's up with daniel is he still on the roster? i remember we activated him due to moore's injury due to the fact that moore was our 3rd qb... if so drop daniel again?? maybe

Coach is so good he knew in advance Hartley was gonna get hurt, that's why.
