She's a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader; I highly doubt that she even knows what a minstrel show is or the history behind blackface.
On the other hand, that was a stupid thing to do and I expect her to be fired. I'm not saying she should be, but the last thing an organization needs is one of its representatives running around in blackface.
The sad thing in this whole mess it that her costume sucked fantastically…

I don't really see anyone on this thread raking this girl over the coals or calling her racist or saying she's truly evoking the sentiment behind blackface years ago.
The worst I've seen people convict her of is making a poor choice and nothing more.
I mean, I don't think it's all that offensive but I'd agree it was probably a foolish decision on her part considering her local quasi-celebrity status.
Some of you keep talking about "outrage" and the only thing close to "outrage" I'm seeing in this thread is from the people coming to her defense, "outraged" at the PC-ness of people attacking her which I am not seeing in this thread.
A lot of you are up in arms over people making too much of this. But it seems to me the people making the most of this issue are the people complaining about the people making too much of this, none of which are even in this thread.
In other words, I think you're reacting about nothing and against nobody while boxing shadows.

Look, I'm not a zombiest. Some of my best friends are zombies. I let them into my, let them use my bathroom. All I'm saying is that I don't think zombies and people should be allowed to marry. That's just what I believe.
