If it's true - time to cut him has come. I'd rather keep him and cut Carney.

Please consider your source. I love ( just about) anyone who is a Saints fan but those guys over there have some serious issues. During Katirna I thought it was a clan site.

The real shame here is that we could have lost some good ps players to make room for this clown

With our offense playing at it's peak, how much do we even need a field goal kicker?

Not too sure about Hartley, he's starting to resemble a screwball more than anything.

If it is true, then he should be put on the non-football injury list or cut.

Unfortunately you dont realize how bad you really need a field goal kicker until your team is walking off the field after giving a game away.

Once again, SR.com shows its willingness to believe anything they read just to be able to openly bash someone. Just like the Kim K thread where she NEVER said she wanted the Saints to move to LA, yet there were 5 pages calling her all sorts of derogatory stuff.

I firmly believe that some people just really hate certain players/celebrities/whoever for whatever reason, and are looking for ANY reason, even if it is a rumor off a nola.com forum which usually more closely resembles a Klan rally than forum, to be able to display that hate publicly as some kind of validation for hating them.

Wow. Hold on now...it isn't even clear whether the poster on nola.com was even being serious. Even if they were being serious, there's absolutely no reason to take them seriously. This is a bit premature.

We can put people on the moon but have yet to devise a vending machine that doesn't make you want to kick its ***, go figure. And now they make them as heavy as city buses so you can't rock them to dislodge your captive treats! OUTRAGE!

If this is true, Hartley may be the first man too dumb to be a kicker.

If that came from nola.com, seriously take it with a grain of salt...

I think Payton might have cut him already if that was true.

I think that most of those negative comments were posted with the premise that the NOLA link was true. Of course those comments should be taken with a grain of salt, if considered real at all.

However, I'm not so sure that my comment about him taking up a roster spot for lost PS players is true whether he kicked the machine or not. I really like some of those PS players that we recently lost and i have wondered to myself, "is a second (and unused) kicker necessary?"
