Take your drivel back to the "pool party" noone gives a damn about your worthless, uneducated Midwestern opinion on football until your pathetic conference has more competitive teams. Until then watch more football

Agreed. Florida didn't get to be number 1 by this season alone. They have not lost since the Ole Miss game last year, beating #1 Alabama in the SECCG, # 2 Oklahoma in the BCSCG, #4 LSU in Baton Rouge, and every team they've faced. The SEC has won the NC the past 3 years - 2006 - UF, 2007 - LSU, 2008 - UF. Oklahoma was the best team in the Big 12 last year, and they were beaten, soundly, by the Gators. Should Texas be the best team in the Big 12 this year, they too will have their chance.

To translate for some of you SEC SEC fans,
"They play damn strong football outside of the SEC"
The way things are going, this is going to be a magical bowl season because everything will be so unpredictable. I LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

I haven't seen much respect for any of them. Every thread about any of those teams usually ends up in an "SEC is great" thread that concludes that the respective team would lose at least 3-4 games in the SEC.

When did Penn State join the PAC-10? Have I been asleep for a few years?

The SEC has produced the national champion the last three years. An SEC team has been in the championship game 5 out of the 11 years the BCS system has been around, and has WON ALL FIVE. Can't really argue with that. If another conference whines that the SEC gets too much respect, then send a team that can beat us. Otherwise, get over it.

You clearly do not have the proper aptitude to determine quality.

LC has a propensity to troll, but he is a quality poster when not stooping to those antics. Rob Beaux's aptitude on determining quality is just fine., IMO.

1. I wasn't even in the debate talking about the merits of LC's posts or not. The only thing I had posted in this thread at that time was a good-natured shot at Texas in a thread that a Texas fan created to attack my conference and school. That's just fair game if you ask me. So out of nowhere Rob wants to drag me into that fight by attacking me for no reason? Yea, definitely not going to let that one stand from an avid Laval supporter. Hey Rob, how many national championships did your lover win? And how many championships did the guy before and after him win? Case closed.
2. If LC wants to get a rise out of people, so be it. Its our decision to read and/or reply to him. We should all know by now what his intentions are anyways. Just like Rob wanted to get a rise out of me by bringing me into the fight out of nowhere, and it was my choice to comment back. If Rob wants to start another fight? Then he'll have to do a much better job this time than he did during the Laval and now the coach M. years. I have no problem pointing out his stupidity if he feels he just simply has to go there. However hopefully he'll just let this hopeless endeavour go and we can all return to the regularly scheduled broadcasts that is an LC rant regarding how his little dog and pony show of a conference actually matters somehow... Rob, I know you're still ****** about being soooooo wrong about Laval and my constantly calling you out for it. but let it go already. He got fired and replaced with a guy who can (and did) actually win a championship. It's over with dude. You lost.
