Give me your best zydeco playlist
I'm living in Los Angeles and a friend of mine has just returned from a trip to New Orleans....she fell in love with zydeco music while she was there. She knows I'm from the Coast and asked me for a list of some great zydeco songs and artist.
I like the music, but not enough to know the really great stuff. I am sure there are some serious zydeco fans here at SR who can help me out.
Care to share your zydeco playlists?!?

Most def Boozoo.
I also like Horace Trahan, Lil Nathan and The Zydeco Big Timers, Geno Delafose, John Delafose, Nathan Williams, Cedric Watson, Clifton Chenier, Brian Jack. You can find Paul Marx on Facebook, owner of 101.1 KBON, he is all about spreading Louisiana music. He will gladly help you more than I can.

Getting a little out of zydeco and into swamp pop there's Aaron Foret, Ryan Foret, Travis Matte, Damon Troy, Junior n Sumtin Sneaky and tons more.
Check out LA Cajun Stuff....they have a great selection.
