I don't know, I just don't think it's the best thing for a team to go on a long run at the beginning of the season. How many of those teams that go 8-0, 9-0, 10-0 at the beginning of the season actually end up winning the SB. The latest trend for SB winners has been for the teams to be better in the second half of the season. I hope for them to be moderately good in the beginning of the season, then catch fire at about week 11 or 12. Adversity is the best thing that can happen to our team.
What's prolly gonna happen is that the 18-0 Saints face the 18-0 Patriots for the first ever guaranteed 19-0 season with the Saints winning, thus establishing the foundation of the latest dynasty.

In another thread, I mentioned that I was talking with friends and we went through the schedule, and I came up with us going 13-3 and also had us winning the first 8 games, The only one I hesitated on was Philly. That one could be close, but Westbrook may still be out.
I may change my mind after what I see in TC and pre-season.

That would be more likely if we didnt play eachother during the regular season.
I need to see some games before I drink that koolaid. This team has yet to execute on both sides of the ball for a complete game let alone a run of games in a long while. Can we, yes! Will we, I don't know.
Everybody thinks we're gonna kill the Lions. I'm sure Calvin Johnson reads that stuff.
We lose that one in a case of over-confidence.
The Eagles and Bills hand us our tails on the road.
Home against the Jets next.
I hope everyone is awake by then.

Why are you afraid of the Bills? They still need someone to be able to throw the ball to TO, and the QB's they have aren't even in Romo's league, and Romo is overrated.

They are at home, have a coach who may be in trouble with his job, and a lean, hungry, and underrated team.
You know, you can read the threads from the last two off-seasons, and aside from the poster names you ussually can't even tell it apart from the current ones? I'm just saying.

They are also going to be without Marshawn Lynch due to his 3 game suspension.

I would love this to happen but we play the pats in the regular season.
